Director/Manager - Sales and Customer Success


We are looking for a leader who would be responsible to grow business for Simplotel from new as well as existing customers. The Director or Manager will lead the business development and account management functions within Simplotel. The leader will ensure that revenue and renewal targets are met.

The leader will run the sales function and will be responsible for driving the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting, building a pipeline, creating a funnel and converting leads to customers.

The leader will also drive renewals, upsells, and referrals through the customer success function. He/she will maintain a strong relationship with existing customers, improve the customer’s usage of Simplotel products and services, and drive the adoption of new features that help customers.


  • Own overall revenue numbers for Simplotel through new customer acquisition and renewals/upsells to existing customers. Deliver revenue goals of the company.

  • Build, manage, and develop high-performance business development and customer success organizations.

  • Network in the industry and build relationships with top prospects and customers.

  • Build a network of partners to accelerate business growth.

  • Represent Simplotel at industry events.


Skills Required

  • 5-10 years in sales and account management.

  • Graduate degree in Engineering. An MBA is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to think on one's feet, a flair to convince customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Excellent listening and presentation skills.

  • Solid analytical skills and good knowledge of MS Excel. A good understanding of Google Analytics and e-commerce is a plus.

  • Ability to design and implement new processes.

  • Prior leadership and team management experience.

  • Ability to travel extensively.

  • Network in the hotel industry a plus.
