Position: 

Senior Business Development Manager – Consultative Selling


Simplotel is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead our sales efforts and drive business growth. This is a strategic role that requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in consultative selling and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will be passionate about selling internet technologies and will play a critical role in our expansion and success.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company sales goals and drive growth.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with hoteliers and potential prospects through regular meetings and communication.
  • Lead the sales team in identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities with large hotels and partners.
  • Drive market expansion efforts by exploring new territories and opportunities both domestically and internationally.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline with partners and team members, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities.
  • Enhance Simplotel's brand presence by building and maintaining strong relationships with key industry stakeholders.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts to the executive team.
  • Mentor and coach business development managers to enhance their skills and performance.


Requirements

  • 4 to 7 years of work experience in business development, with a focus on consultative selling (experience in e-commerce preferred).
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and ambiguous environment.
  • Extensive experience in building and managing relationships with C-level executives.
  • Ability to travel extensively as required.
  • Willingness to work on weekends when required to meet business demands.

Business Development Manager - Mumbai – Consultative Selling.


Simplotel is looking to hire a Business Development Manager, in a full-time capacity, who can sell our offerings to large hotels. This is an opportunity to join a company on the ground floor and become a part of the early growth. If you are passionate about selling internet technologies, you will thoroughly enjoy this position. An ideal candidate would be someone who is in Presales and wants to explore a Business Development Role.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals.
  • Meeting with hoteliers and potential prospects on a regular basis to build and nurture relationships.
  • Cold calling; connecting with multiple potential prospects.
  • Working with large hotels and partners across the country.
  • Follow up on marketing leads, as well as expand business from the company’s existing client base or partners.
  • Build strong brand relationships.
  • Building pipelines with partners and team members to close sales.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.

 

Skills Required:

  • 1 - 4 years of work experience in technology pre-sales (e-commerce preferred in both domestic and international markets).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Very high ethical standards.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and unpredictable work hours.
  • Proven track record of meeting revenue targets.
  • MBA required (preferably from a top school).
  • Ability to travel extensively
