Manager - Digital Marketing

As a Manager of the Digital Marketing function, you will take full ownership of strategy, execution, and team leadership across SEO and paid marketing channels. This role demands a strong focus on driving measurable impact for a diverse portfolio of hotel clients through streamlined processes, sharp performance tracking, and effective people management. The position is based at our Head Office in Bangalore.


Responsibilities:

The goal of the Manager will be to ensure that our customers achieve a good return on their digital marketing investment.

  • Define and drive the digital marketing agenda, aligning team priorities with broader business goals.

  • Establish and enforce scalable processes to enhance operational efficiency and campaign consistency.

  • Develop and present performance-focused SEO and paid marketing strategies tailored to client objectives, securing alignment and buy-in.

  • Build strong customer partnerships by understanding their goals and translating them into actionable marketing plans.

  • Lead and mentor the digital marketing team, ensuring high-quality execution and continuous skill development.

  • Monitor and report on campaign effectiveness, translating data into insights that drive ongoing optimization.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to evolve a tech-forward, best-in-class marketing approach.

  • Stay ahead of trends and innovations in digital marketing, integrating relevant tools and technologies to maintain competitive advantage.

 

Skills Required:

  • Graduate degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA is preferred

  • 5–8 years of experience in digital marketing and account management

  • Strong command of SEO, Google Ads, display, and social media advertising

  • Proven ability to design processes, manage teams, delegate work, and track execution

  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail

  • Proficient in Excel and marketing analytics tools

  • Awareness of current digital marketing trends and technologies

Position:

Simplotel is looking to hire a Business Development Manager, in a full-time capacity, who can sell our offerings to large hotels. This is an opportunity to join a company on the ground floor and become a part of the early growth. If you are passionate about selling internet technologies, you will thoroughly enjoy this position. An ideal candidate would be someone who is in Presales and wants to explore a Business Development Role. 


Responsibilities:

  • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals.
  • Meeting with hoteliers and potential prospects on a regular basis to build and nurture relationships.
  • Cold calling; connecting with multiple potential prospects.
  • Working with large hotels and partners across the country.
  • Follow up on marketing leads, as well as expanding business from the company’s existing client base or partners.
  • Build strong brand relationships.
  • Building pipelines with partners and team members to close sales.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.

 

Skills Required:

  • 1 to 4 years of Work Experience in pre-sales. (e-commerce preferred in both domestic and international markets)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Very high ethical standards.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and unpredictable work hours.
  • Proven track record of meeting revenue targets.
  • MBA required (preferably from a top school).
  • Ability to travel extensively.
